Channel your inner naturalist in a variety of activities as we welcome the fall weather and celebrate the last few months of the American Philosophical Society’s exhibition, Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850.
Come and spend the afternoon with your family at the American Philosophical Society‘s Jefferson Garden. The Museum for Art in Wood will be there, giving demos on how to collect, press, and mount your very own herbarium!
There will be hands-on activities, games, and snacks* for the whole family. Visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program. This free family friendly event is appropriate for guests of all ages.
